Lieutenant General Dwivedi is an alumnus of Sainik School-Rewa, National Defense Academy and Indian Military Academy. He has a graduate degree from the prestigious Defense Service Staff College. After which he has also participated in the Higher Command Course at the Army War College and the National Defense College Course at the United States Army War College.
Pakistan-China border
Lieutenant General Dwivedi has long experience of working on the Pakistan and China border. He commanded his battalion in the Assam Rifles Sector, Inspectorate General Assam Rifles (IGAR, East) in the Kashmir Valley, Indo-Myanmar border.
